Eptic

Born Michaël Bella in Belgium, Eptic produces dubstep and EDM with the same boisterous energy and crushing drops common to the scene, yet certain tracks add an ethereal spaciousness and draw on science-fiction or adventure motifs. He also moves fluidly into trap and drum’n’bass alongside his work in dubstep and electro-house. Production began for him in the late 2000s, with debut EPs arriving on Chronos Records in 2011. A 2012 signing to Never Say Die yielded further releases, among them Like a Boss and Mastermind. Collaborations with Habstrakt and Must Die! ensued, as did appearances at EDM festivals worldwide. In 2016 Spinnin’ Records issued his joint single with Jauz, “Get Down,” while Never Say Die put out the Overlord EP.
