Kill the Noise spans the EDM range from electro house through dubstep as one of the endeavors by Rochester, New York producer Jake Stanczak. Following dancefloor traction earned as Ewun, Stanczak introduced the more atmospheric and dubstep-focused Kill the Noise in 2008 via the album Kill Kill Kill. Remixes of the hit Estelle and Kanye West single "American Boy" came next, and 2010 saw him team with Jon Gooch for the Feed Me's Big Adventure EP, issued on Deadmau5's Mau5trap imprint. During 2011 he joined Skrillex to co-produce a pair of cuts for Korn's dubstep-leaning album The Path of Totality. Attention turned a year afterward to Kill the Noise's own output, yielding the Roots Remixed and Black Magic EPs in 2012. The 2014 hit "Recess" arose from his work alongside Skrillex and Fatman Scoop, while 2015 brought the album Occult Classic featuring contributions from Dillon Francis and AWOLNATION.
