Biography
During the mid-'90s, Indo G surfaced among a Memphis, TN, cluster of rappers linked to the wider Three 6 Mafia network that encompassed Hypnotize Camp Posse, Prophet Posse, and Tear da Club up Thugs. His emergence as one of the city's strongest MCs was confirmed almost at once by Angel Dust, the 1998 album crafted under the production of Juicy "J" and DJ Paul. Shortly afterward, however, he was cut off from the Three 6 fold, so that his next project, Live & Learn, depended on the Ghetto Troopers and reached audiences without any backing from Three 6 members or their Relativity major-label ties, drawing scant notice. Earlier, before teaming with Juicy "J" and DJ Paul, Indo G had already cut tracks with Lil' Blunt as a duo throughout the mid-'90s.
