Inkwell

The duo Inkwell features Travis Adams, who previously served as the lead vocalist for the emo group My Hotel Year, alongside Dave Pierce. Following his departure from My Hotel Year, Adams grew hesitant toward band involvement, yet Pierce persuaded him to resume performing, leading the pair to compose tracks rapidly while handling every instrument on their debut album, Chaos Reveals Rhyme, issued in 2005 via Amateur Records. Persistent overtures from the Orlando outfit 111 Records eventually swayed Inkwell to collaborate with them. In July 2006, the act put out These Stars Are Monsters, and during the ensuing summer months, they joined Mae and the Spill Canvas on tour.
