Biography
Hailing from England, James Zabiela launched his DJ career in 1999 after securing victory in a magazine-run "bedroom DJ" contest that quickly elevated him among the U.K.'s leading progressive house talents. He soon entered Sasha's Excession DJ agency, sharing bills with his mentor and lining up multiple residencies plus one-off dates around the world. From 2003 to 2005 he issued the mix albums Sound in Motion, Alive, and Utilities.
