Biography
Mark Reveley, born on Bainbridge Island in Washington, teamed up with Los Angeles resident Emma Lucia when the two launched their project under the Jed and Lucia name in 2005. The pair had first met during the mid-1990s and performed together in several earlier bands before independently issuing their debut album, Candles in Daylight, in 2006. Their music fuses modern electronic folk-pop in a style recalling Björk, Boards of Canada, and the Bird and the Bee. In October 2010 the Berkeley-based duo released their second album, the dreamy and cinematic Superhuman Heart.
