Biography
Born into a preacher’s family, Nashville singer/songwriter Jeremy Lister grew up surrounded by music, dissecting melodies and harmonies alongside his older brother Richie, who played piano, as the two composed songs together. Following his move to Nashville in 2003, he began experimenting with a range of musical approaches and eventually captured those efforts on the EP Shooting Star. The 2005 release of another EP, So Far, drew the attention of Warner Bros. Records and paved the way for the 2007 Just One Day EP. The next year saw the arrival of his first full-length major-label album, filled with the melodic, emotionally charged pop that defines his work.
