Biography
The talents of Norman Blake, guitarist and vocalist with Teenage Fanclub, merge with those of Euros Childs, onetime guitarist and vocalist in Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, to create the melodic pop duo Jonny. Their creative rapport dates to a joint Teenage Fanclub and Gorky's tour in 1997. Blake further supplied vocals and guitar on the Gorky's album How I Long to Feel That Summer in My Heart, issued in 2001. The two musicians reconvened in 2006 to cut an EP and stage several concerts, prompting additional songwriting. Jonny issued its self-titled debut full-length album in early 2011.
