Biography
Emerging in 2008 from Scotland in the wake of the dissolution of Aereogramme, the popular dreamy alternative/post-rock outfit, Unwinding Hours took shape through vocalist/guitarist Craig B. and guitarist/programmer Iain Cook. Their inclination toward wintry electro-acoustic vistas and AOR-friendly balladry registered as strikingly recognizable, much to the satisfaction of listeners still lamenting the end of the duo’s prior project, which had given way after four albums amid the monetary pressures of nearly a decade spent teetering near international breakthrough. The group’s self-titled debut reached the public in March 2010 via Chemikal Underground.
