Biography
Oakland rapper Kafani pairs with MC Kashmere in the duo Babyface Assassins. Their first significant exposure outside the Bay Area arrived when both appeared on Keak da Sneak’s single “Everybody Know My Name,” which was placed on the early-2007 compilation Hyphy Hitz. Keak da Sneak later reciprocated by guesting on “Fast (Like a Nascar),” the lead single from Kafani’s solo debut Money’s My Motivation, which arrived later that year.
