Yukmouth

Yukmouth made his initial appearance as one half of the Luniz, the Oakland, California duo whose debut album Operation Stackola arrived in 1995 and featured the major hit single "I Got 5 on It." He assumed the name Smoke-a-Lot with the 1997 release of Lunitik Musik, only to reclaim his earlier identity for the solo debut Thugged Out: The Albulation the following year. Spring 2001 brought Thug Lord: The New Testament and Block Shit. United Ghettos of America surfaced in 2002, followed two years later by a second volume. Million Dollar Mouthpiece dropped in 2008, The West Coast Don arrived in 2009, and the mixtape 420 appeared in 2010. Solo releases and collaborations continued at a steady pace across the next seven years before culminating in the two-part 2017 project JJ Based on a Vill Story.
