Biography
Big Syke established the rap group Evil Mind Gangstas back in 1990, which set the stage for a lengthy delay before his first solo album could reach the public. The stage name itself evolved from the early childhood nickname "Little Psycho," bestowed on him during his youngest years. Maturity rendered Big Syke the more suitable variation on that original alias. An introduction to Tupac Shakur in 1992 led rapidly to an enduring friendship and regular appearances together on tour. Those ties appear to explain the extended postponement of his own recordings. His debut solo effort, Big Syke Daddy, finally surfaced in late 2001.
