Biography
Having studied Freestyle Fellowship and the Project Blowed alt-rap movement on the Left Coast, Compton native Kail—born William Thedford—moved past his novice MC phase in the same manner as many others within the L.A. underground by appearing at the celebrated Good Life café. After arranging a release through L.A. indie Alpha Pup with the U.K.-based Big Dada, the offbeat rapper issued his thematically structured debut, True Hollywood Squares, in 2008.
