Biography
In late 2015, London-based house producer and DJ KDA achieved his breakthrough when “Turn the Music Louder (Rumble)” climbed to the summit of the U.K. singles chart, outpacing releases by One Direction, Diplo, and the Weeknd. The track itself grew out of an earlier cut titled “Rumble,” which had appeared on Ministry of Sound; the resulting ’90s-flavored house production featured Tinie Tempah and Katy B. Ahead of its release, KDA had already supplied remixes for Vaults, Chvrches, Lianne La Havas, London Grammar, Katy B, and Kylie Minogue.
