Kurdo

Kurdo, born November 29, 1988, arrived in Germany at age eight after fleeing Iraq as a refugee. Based in Heidelberg, the rapper fused musical traditions from his native country with a style defined by assured vocal delivery over brooding, low-tempo productions. His debut project appeared in 2012 as the mixtape 11ta Stock Sound on Beefhaus, with the full-length Slum Dog Millionaer following on Soul Food in 2014.
