Biography
Baba Saad first saw the light of day in Beirut yet shifted to Germany with his relatives at the age of nine, there establishing his path as a rapper. Completing secondary school opened the door to a partnership with Bushido, the leading German hip-hop artist who guided Saad’s early steps. He contributed verses to Bushido’s Electro Ghetto in 2004, and the pair later shared top billing on the joint release Carlo Cokxxx Nutten II, which reached third place on the German album chart. An extra appearance on another Bushido project preceded Saad’s own debut album, Das Leben Ist Saad, issued in 2006. Saadcore arrived two years later, followed by Halunke in 2011.
