Alpa Gun

Alpa Gun, a hardcore rapper born in Berlin to Turkish parents, maintains an association with the Aggro Berlin crew via its Sektenmuzik imprint. His roots lie in the Schöneberg section of the city, and his work alongside the notorious Aggro Berlin outfit began in 2005. That same year brought appearances on Aggro Ansage, Vol. 5 (including “Alpa für Westberlin” and “A.G.G.R.O Teil 5”), one of the label’s mixtape-style samplers; Heiße Ware (with “Sei Wie Du Bist,” “Freunde,” and “Partytime”), hosted by Tony D and B-Tight; Dein Lieblingsalbum (featuring “Gib Mir die Flasche” and “Die Sekte und SRK”), credited to Deine Lieblingsrapper; and several cuts by MOK (“MOK & Alpa,” “Schöneberg Neukölln,” “Alpas Kampf,” “Ich Kling Wie Was”), another Turkish-descended Aggro Berlin rapper. Later Aggro Berlin projects continued to showcase Alpa Gun extensively. His first full-length solo effort, Geladen und Entsichert (2007), appeared on Sektenmusik, accompanied at release by the Ausländer maxi-single.
