PA Sports

Born Parham Vakili on April 1, 1990, in Essen, Germany, the German-Iranian rapper PA Sports first recorded under the name PA Lyricist. He began writing rhymes at age 12 and quickly entered freestyle competitions. An online EP called Psychoshit, issued by his crew Das Kollektiv, caught the ear of Eko Fresh, who then asked him to appear on the mixtape Fick Deine Story. Although a debut project had been planned for Eko Fresh’s German Dream imprint, PA Sports ultimately signed with Shrazy Records instead. He and KC Rebell formed the duo SAW, which put out the 2006 mixtape Schwarz auf Weiß and followed it with the 2008 album Kinder des Zorns. Later that same year PA Sports departed Shrazy Records and stepped away from music for a brief period. He resurfaced in 2011 with his first solo album, Streben Nach Glück, which included guest spots from Tua and Silla. The sequel, Vom Glück Zurück, arrived one year later.
