Los Llayras

Hailing from central Mexico, Los Llayras blended cumbia, traditional Andean folk, and grupero music to shape their singular tropical style. Following their rise to prominence across Latin America, the ensemble released the U.S. compilations 20 Cumbias Andinas and El Tranvia del Amor before unveiling the all-new tracks of Manantial de Amor in 1998. Prometiendo Amor arrived the subsequent year, and Vuelve Mariposa surfaced in spring 2001.
