Biography
Originating in Sussex County, DE, Love Seed Mama Jump assembled in 1992 as a feel-good pop/rock sextet whose members comprise Rick Arzt on vocals, Pete Wiedmann on bass, Dave James on percussion, Paul Voshell on drums, and guitarists Brian Gore and Will Stack. Consistent East Coast touring helped the band develop a sizable audience. Four albums appeared by the close of 2001—Drunk at the Stone Balloon, Baked Fresh Daily, Seven Stories High, and the self-titled release that served as the group’s first outing on the Artemis label. Love Seed Mama Jump has shared stages with Matchbox 20, Beck, the Beach Boys, Fuel, and the Squirrel Nut Zippers, and the four records have collectively surpassed 80,000 copies sold.
