Malca

Malca, a Casablanca native, merges Moroccan rhythms into refined electronic R&B and pop textures, shaping an expansive sonic identity that connects North Africa with Europe. Relocating to Paris, the emerging vocalist first attracted notice in 2015 through the independently issued She Gets Too High EP, which fused luminous disco accents with restrained electro pulses and landed a contract with Jakarta Records in Berlin. The follow-up, 2017’s Casablanca Jungle, expanded his palette with understated homages to his birthplace alongside more layered approaches to current R&B and left-field pop.
