Biography
Emerging from Sweden, the metal band Mammoth Volume blends hard rock elements reminiscent of Kyuss and Clawfinger with progressive rock touches drawn from Yes and Blue Oyster Cult to create their distinctive icy metal style. The group features Kalle Berlin handling bass duties, Daniel Gustafsson on guitar, Nicklas Andersson behind the drums, and Jörgen Andersson providing vocals. Their self-titled first album appeared during the summer of 1999, with the Noara Dance EP arriving the following spring in 2000.
