Biography
The New Wave of French Rock outfit Naast originated as a duo in Joinville-le-Pont in 2004 before expanding into a quartet of Gustave on guitar and vocals, Nicolas on drums, Clod on bass, and Laka on guitar, with every member later adopting the surname Naast in the manner of the Ramones or the Donnas. Extensive live appearances helped shape both their sound and their profile, leading to the January 2007 release of the debut album L'Antichambre, spearheaded by the single "Mauvais Garçon" that subsequently appeared in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. The group nevertheless disbanded two years afterward.
