Oiki

An electronic dance music producer drawing from dubstep and trap, Oiki has earned acclaim from Skrillex and Caspa along with regular play on BBC 1XTRA. Born in Moscow, Russia, he later settled in Miami, Florida, where he emerged as a leading act on the Dub Police label in 2013. That same year both "Groove," which appeared on the five-track Get It Now EP, and the separate single "Are You Scared" shattered the imprint’s prior online sales figures. The breakthrough releases displayed more space and nuance than those issued by most of Oiki’s contemporaries. "Ratchet" followed in the next year, as Oiki’s live appearances expanded to include shared bills with Borgore, Flux Pavilion, and Skrillex.
