Biography
Ol' Skool emerged as a new jack urban R&B ensemble and issued their opening single, "Set You Free," during autumn 1997. The quartet comprises Pookie on vocals, Tony Love on vocals and guitar, Curtis Jefferson on vocals and bass, and Bobby Crawford on vocals, drum programming, and keyboards. Keith Sweat identified the act early, promoted their cause, served as executive producer of the self-titled debut album, oversaw production on several cuts, and appeared as a guest performer. That debut arrived in February 1998 and entered the charts at number 49. R.S.V.P. appeared in 2000.
