Biography
From an early age, Brazilian Orlando Morais took up the piano and joined school gatherings while also nurturing a passion for acting. At seventeen he relocated to Rio de Janeiro to pursue a law degree. During that time he entered a competition staged by a nearby music conservatory and placed first among five hundred entrants. He next established himself in Portugal and later moved on to France. After returning to Brazil, Morais assembled the band Cavalo de Troia. In 1990 he launched his solo career with a self-titled album, followed by A Rota Do Individuo. Two years later the Brazilian Quality Award recognized the excellence of his output.
