Biography
Originating from Italy, Picchio dal Pozzo ranked among the ensembles that adopted the country’s 1970s prog movement. The band formed in 1972 and issued its debut album Picchio dal Pozzo in 1975. Their next studio effort, Abbiamo Tutti i Suoi Problemi, finally appeared in 1980. Shortly after that release the group disbanded. A live album titled Camere Zimmer Rooms nonetheless surfaced in 2001.
