PS I Love You

Originating in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, the noise pop duo PS I Love You came together in 2006 to serve as a creative vehicle for songwriter Paul Saulnier. Saulnier first composed material using guitar, pedal organ, and Casio keyboard before bringing in drummer Benjamin Nelson to handle percussion duties in place of the unreliable keyboard. The resulting partnership produced an intense yet luminous style, where surging melodies cut through thick washes of reverb and churning organ tones. After issuing several singles, the duo issued their debut full-length album, Meet Me at the Muster Station, on Paper Bag Records in 2010. Their follow-up, the Polaris Music Prize-nominated Death Dreams, appeared in 2012, with the third studio album for the label, For Those Who Stay, arriving in 2014.
