Biography
Raging Fyah, a roots rock reggae ensemble often likened to a contemporary counterpart of Morgan Heritage, put out a pair of independent albums prior to affiliating with the VP label during 2016. The founding trio—Delroy "Pele" Hamilton on bass, Demar "Keysie" Gayle handling keyboards, and Anthony Watson behind the drums—first connected while attending Kingston, Jamaica’s Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, where they studied under Ibo Cooper of Third World. Courtland "Gizmo" White joined on guitar, enabling the band to debut as Inside Out back in 2002. By 2006 the act had rebranded itself Raging Fyah, issuing its initial full-length effort Judgement Day in 2011. Destiny arrived in 2014, after which VP acquired the group through its Dub Rockers subsidiary. Teaming with Llamar "Riff Raff" Brown of Tuff Gong Studios for production duties led to the 2016 appearance of Everlasting.
