Biography
Formed in Norway toward the end of the 1980s, Red Harvest has steadily folded assorted strains of electronica and industrial music into its dark metal framework, cultivating a devoted audience through grassroots praise and a steady sequence of albums that never recycle prior approaches. Listeners in the United States remained without domestic access to any of the group’s recordings until Relapse arranged a reissue of the praised 2000 album Cold Dark Matter in 2001. The next two efforts, New World Rage Music (2001) and Sick Transit Gloria Mundi (2002), both appeared on the Nocturnal Art Production label yet never reached American retailers.
