Biography
Revolution Saints bring together the combined talents of Deen Castronovo, who handled drums and vocals in Ozzy Osbourne, Journey, and Bad English, bassist and vocalist Jack Blades from Night Ranger and Damn Yankees, and guitarist Doug Aldrich, previously active in Lion and Bad Moon Rising, to create an American hard rock supergroup.
Frontiers Records founder Serafino Perugino formed the project in 2014 to spotlight Castronovo’s soaring vocal style, yielding a sound rooted in old-school, guitar-based heavy metal and rock & roll. Their self-titled debut full-length appeared in 2015, followed in 2017 by the Alessandro Del Vecchio-produced second album Light in the Dark. The band refined its classic melodic hard rock approach on 2020’s Rise, which included the track “Eyes of a Child” co-written with Styx’s Tommy Shaw.
