Burmer possesses an exceptional talent for melody alongside a precise approach to electronic music production. His artistic direction emerged from deep appreciation for the folk traditions of East India and Europe, combined with fascination for 1970s progressive rock in the vein of Moody Blues and Pink Floyd. Proficient with advanced recording methods, he refined his skills amid the Southern California electronic community during the mid 1980s, later heading back to his native Michigan toward the close of the decade.
