Biography
Shola Ama, the soul-pop princess, achieved major success across her native U.K. before unveiling In Return as her American debut during fall 2000. Released in 1997, her first album Much Love attained platinum status, delivered four Top Ten hits for Ama, and brought the BRIT award for Best British Female the following year.
