So Many Wizards

Nima Kazerouni initiated So Many Wizards in 2009 as a dreamy indie solo project rooted in Long Beach, California. Early performances placed him before stacked television sets that broadcast synchronized backing tracks. The Tree EP surfaced amid this phase, an eight-song bedroom pop collection issued in handcrafted covers. Drummer Erik Felix soon collaborated with Kazerouni on the Love Songs for When You Leave Me EP. Bassist Warren Woodward completed the lineup, enabling frequent Southern California appearances that expanded into national and international tours. The Inner City/Best Friends 7" appeared in 2011, after which Woodward departed. L.A. musicians Geoff Geis and Melody Carillo joined in his place, and the band’s proper full-length debut, Warm Nothing, followed in 2012.
