Solitude

Solitude came together in Southampton, England during 2003. Later in that same year, the group put out their initial demo, a four-track recording called A Mind Without Doors. One year afterward, this demo received revisions that included additional tracks along with refined production, resulting in the ten-track album Through Torment + Torture, which appeared via Manmade Records in 2005. The year 2006 saw the arrival of their EP More Enemies Than Friends together with performances across the region. Shortly thereafter, guitarist Matthew Huxted joined the existing lineup of Aaron Murphy on guitar, Ian Cullen on bass, Rich Le Vallee on keys, and Olly Barnett on drums, prompting the ensemble to commence composing fresh songs intended for their upcoming release.
