Biography
Electronic duo Somewhere Else craft soulful, atmospheric pop built for the dancefloor. The project came together in 2016 around the partnership of two-time Grammy-winning producer and songwriter Carlo "Illangelo" Montagnese with creative director and songwriter Billy Walsh. Before teaming up, each had already assembled an extensive résumé that included work alongside Drake, the Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, and additional high-profile artists. Walsh, beyond his songwriting contributions, earned recognition as a fashion stylist and for creating Rihanna’s 2016 “Shoe of the Year”-winning Fenty Puma Creeper. That year the duo first drew notice with the U.K. VMA-nominated debut single “Move Together,” which featured Canadian R&B duo Majid Jordan. They followed in 2017 with further releases such as “Glue” featuring RAYE, “All the Way,” and “Uh Huh.”
