Soul For Real

Comprising the four Dalyrimple brothers Brian, Chris, Dre, and Jason, the R&B group Soul for Real came together in 1992 after the siblings had already devoted extensive time to performing in their church choir. Uptown Records signed the quartet, and they issued their debut album Candy Rain in early 1995; the project attained platinum certification and climbed to number 23 on the album charts before the year concluded. Following tours throughout America and abroad, the members joined forces with producers Heavy D. and Sean "Puffy" Combs to create For Life. Heat surfaced as the ensemble’s third album in 1999.
