Biography
Originating from Grenoble, where he first saw the light of day in 1972, French singer/songwriter Steeve Estatof developed an affinity for American alternative rock while performing with multiple bands throughout his early adulthood. In 2004 he entered Nouvelle Star, the French counterpart to Pop Idol and American Idol, and emerged victorious in its second season. The win prompted the immediate launch of his debut single "Garde-Moi" and the solo album A L'Envers, both issued that year and the latter achieving Top 10 status. His follow-up full-length, Le Poison Ideal, arrived in stores in 2008.
