Stef Bos

Stef Bos, the Dutch singer-songwriter, entered the world in Veenendaal during 1961. He first prepared for a teaching career before enrolling at Studio Herman Teirlinck, where songwriting for fellow artists began—including Belgium’s entry at the 1989 Eurovision Song Contest, “Door de Wind.” Commercial breakthrough arrived in 1990 through the single “Papa.” A 1993 collaboration with Johannes Kerkorrel and Thandie Klaasen on Together as One sparked his engagement with South African music, prompting regular Afrikaans performances alongside leading musicians from that country. In 2009 he joined the Metropole Orchestra for In Een Ander Licht, and the following year he marked two decades in the business with the bestselling anthology Dit Is Nu Later!
