Steven Kapp Perry

Steve's work as a songwriter and playwright has taken him along an eclectic path, encompassing performances of the national anthem for the Cubs at Wrigley Field as well as a stint hosting a Sunday morning radio program in Salt Lake City. Together with Marvin Payne and Roger & Melanie Hoffman—his fellow writers at Peace Mountain MediaWorks—he originated The Scripture Scouts, Alexander's Amazing Adventures, and The Allabouts while also producing material for National Geographic, Prime Recordings, Deseret Book, and additional clients. The Cast Recording of "The Trail of Dreams" earned the 1999 FCMA Pearl Award for "Best Soundtrack." In addition, he volunteers with Reach the Children, a non-profit organization delivering education, nutrition, and vocational training to children and families across Africa.
