Sun Gods In Exile

Origin: U.S.A
Listen on Coda
Originating from Portland, Maine, Sun Gods in Exile came together during 2008, united by the members' collective enthusiasm for unpolished, heavily distorted classic hard rock in the style of AC/DC, the Four Horsemen, and Novadriver. That common thread made a partnership with Detroit's similarly oriented Small Stone Records feel like a natural step. The quartet included Adam Hitchcock on vocals and guitar, Tony D'Agostino on guitar following his work with Cortez, JL on bass after his time in Ocean, and Johnny Kennedy on drums. They tracked their first album, Black Light, White Lines, at Mad Oak Studios in Allston, Massachusetts, then hit the road to promote the release soon after its early 2009 arrival.
