Sunset Rubdown

Among indie rock's most active figures stands Spencer Krug, the vocalist and keyboardist from Montreal's widely praised Wolf Parade who also contributes part-time to Frog Eyes. He channels additional songwriting ideas through Sunset Rubdown, a project conceived as a more experimental counterpart to his primary band. Krug issued the outfit's debut album, Snake's Got a Leg, entirely on his own in July 2005. Soon afterward he recruited a complete ensemble that included Jordan Robson Cramer, Mike Doerkson, and ex-Pony Up! participant Camilla Wynne Ingr. After issuing a self-titled EP, the same group delivered Sunset Rubdown's second full-length, Shut Up I Am Dreaming, in May 2006 via Absolutely Kosher. Random Spirit Lover arrived the following year.
