Biography
The Catheters formed in Seattle with Brian Standeford handling vocals and guitar alongside Derek Mason on guitar, Dave Brozowski on drums, and Leo Gebhart on bass. Their self-titled debut album surfaced in 1999, after which the quartet toured in support alongside the Murder City Devils and Mudhoney. By 2001 the band had joined the Sub Pop roster, already working with producer John Goodmanson, whose prior credits include Unwound, Blonde Redhead, and Sleater-Kinney. Static Delusions and Stone-Still Delays appeared the next year, followed in 2004 by Howling...It Grows and Grows!!!
