Biography
Forming in mid-'60s Los Angeles, the soul group put out two singles on the Audio Artists label, but neither single attracted notable attention. Its members were Cal Waymon, Carl Gilbert, Jean Smith, and Alda Denise Edwards. Waymon, Gilbert, and Smith first crossed paths at Jefferson High School, while Edwards had already sung with the Vi-Dels.
