Biography
Originating in Oslo, Norway, Launderettes is an all-female outfit whose sound blends propulsive rhythms with seductive flair in a high-octane garage-rock revival style. Established in 2000, the group has issued multiple singles plus its first album, Shaken and Disturbed, which Big Dipper Records put out in 2002. Every Heart Is a Time Bomb arrived in 2005. The 2007 compilation Fluff 'n' Fold: The Best of the Launderettes rounded up earlier material.
