Biography
The Sterns, a Boston-area group, craft British-inflected jangly rock shaped by the sounds of Squeeze, XTC, the Smiths, and the English Beat. Former participants in the ska groups Mass. Hysteria and Westbound Train make up the current roster, which includes Chris Stern on vocals and guitar, Alex Stern on guitar and vocals, Emeen Zarookian on bass and vocals, Michael Sixx on keyboard, and Andrew Sadoway on drums. Their debut, the independently issued Say Goodbye to the Camera, appeared in 2005, while the follow-up Sinners Stick Together reached listeners through Omnirox Entertainment in March 2007.
