The Vindictives

The Vindictives ranked among numerous acts delivering poppy punk rock within the underground scene across the 1990s. Their story opened in 1991, when the group issued its debut 7" record later in the year featuring Joey Vindictive on vocals, Johnny Personality on bass, Billy Blastoff on guitar, Dr. Bob on guitar, P.J. Parti on drums, and Erik Elsewhere on drums. Activity continued with a total of 12 albums before July 1996, at which point Joey Vindictive disclosed that ongoing health concerns would force the band to stop. He later recovered from those ailments and revived the project in 2000, producing a fresh album while supervising reissues of a substantial portion of the earlier catalog.
