The Wolfe Brothers, an Australian country outfit, built mounting album momentum into broad domestic acclaim throughout the mid-2010s. Brothers Tom and Nick Wolfe finished second on the 2012 edition of Australia's Got Talent, then issued their first full-length project the following year and secured an authentic chart pinnacle via the energetic 2014 country-rock single "That Kinda Night." Their blend of sincerity, country edge, and pop sheen cultivated a loyal following while the industrious siblings kept climbing the rankings through later releases such as 2016's This Crazy Heart and the 2018 breakthrough Country Heart, which captured Contemporary Country Album of the Year at the Country Music Awards of Australia.

Raised on Tasmania, Tom and Nick received early encouragement from their drummer father to explore music and first took up guitar and piano respectively. Household listening combined 90s country figures such as Garth Brooks and Billy Ray Cyrus with rock and roll. The pair launched the Wolfe Brothers alongside Tasmanian schoolmates Brodie Rainbird and Casey Kostiuk on bass and drums, issuing a self-titled EP in 2010.

National visibility arrived in 2012 when the group entered the sixth season of Australia's Got Talent and placed as runners-up to Andrew De Silva. Beyond widespread exposure, the appearance yielded a recording agreement with ABC Music/Universal Australia, which put out the band's debut It's On in 2013. The set performed respectably, peaking at #18 on the ARIA chart and drawing multiple Country Music Awards of Australia nominations. The next year's follow-up Nothin' But Trouble delivered the hit "That Kinda Night," which reached #1 on the Country Singles chart. In ensuing seasons the ensemble's profile continued to climb as the third album This Crazy Life reached #10, while a subsequent duet with Lee Kernaghan titled "Damn Good Mates" appeared on his 25th Anniversary Album that topped the charts. The Wolfe Brothers then claimed two number-one singles of their own, "Ain't Seen It Yet" and "Country Heart," both drawn from the 2018 album Country Heart. That project, noted for its candid songwriting, secured two trophies at the Country Music Awards of Australia in 2019. After inking a fresh contract with BMG, the Wolfes opened 2020 with the upbeat country-pop track "No Breaks."
