Emerging from a lineage steeped in musical heritage, the Womack Sisters operate as a modern R&B vocal trio. Their commercial entry took place in the closing years of the 2010s, with a return in the following decade that presented an evolved style still anchored in classic soul traditions. The group’s debut EP, bearing their name, surfaced in 2022.

BG, Zeimani, and Kucha are the offspring of Linda and Cecil Womack, who performed as Womack & Womack, positioning the sisters as grandchildren of Sam Cooke and nieces of Bobby Womack. They accumulated early experience singing and traveling as background vocalists alongside their parents, yet first claimed individual attention in 2017 through the upbeat “Darling,” a retro pop-soul track they composed and released on their own. Four years afterward they resurfaced with “Blocked.” The more atmospheric yet self-assured single appeared in November 2021 alongside word of an impending self-titled EP that followed six months later.
