Tiffany Evans

Tiffany Evans, a Bronx native working in both singing and acting, secured the Grand Champion title within Star Search’s junior singer category before reaching age 13. Once she obtained a Columbia recording deal, forward momentum on her music projects slowed. A handful of singles appeared in 2003 and 2004—one being her version of Stacy Lattisaw’s “Let Me Be Your Angel”—yet an eight-song EP was withdrawn from release after reaching only a limited set of outlets. Her self-titled debut album finally arrived in 2007, drawing on contributions from a range of veteran and emerging partners that included Narada Michael Walden, DJ Smurf, Ne-Yo, and the songwriting team the Clutch. Ciara appeared as guest vocalist on the lead single “Promise Ring.” Evans also performed in Diary of a Mad Black Woman and selected episodes of The District and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, and supplied the singing voice for Tarzan II.
